Abdul aIlah Muhammad al-Nimr

​Abdul-Ilah Al-Nimr is currently the Deputy Governor of the National Development Fund to oversee the funds. The fund aims to raise the level of performance of development funds and banks in the Kingdom, to achieve the desired goals to serve the priorities in development and the needs of the economy, through integration and coordination between funds, and to raise the effectiveness of development financing and lending, in order to achieve national goals and contribute to the development of the economy of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Abdullah has 18 years of experience, during which he held various executive positions, business and project development, strategy, partnership building, investment banking, and project finance. Prior to joining the National Development Fund, Abdulelah worked as Chief Operating Officer of the Saudi Company for Development and Technical Investment (Taqnia), one of the companies affiliated with the Public Investment Fund, and it works in the areas of technical investments at the local and global levels. He also worked at (Riyadh Capital) in the Corporate Investment Banking Department, where he held the position of Assistant Vice President, and before that he held the position of Head of the Lending Team at the (Saudi Industrial Development Fund), he led and contributed to the completion of many successful deals for debt and shares, partnerships, and provided advice in evaluating new industrial projects. The list is in various sectors, including health care, building materials, petrochemicals, defense, development and research, and technical investments with a total value of 15 billion Saudi riyals.He has received many advanced training programs and courses, including the development of business leaders from the Wharton College - University of Pennsylvania. Al-Ilah holds a BA with honors in Finance and Economics from King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals.​​​​
