The Director General of the Agricultural Development Fund, Mr. Munir bin Fahd Al-Sahli, on behalf of himself and the staff of the fund, has extended his thanks and gratitude to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz, and Prince Mohamed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense, following the decision made by the Cabinet to issue the state’s general budget for the new fiscal year 1439/1440 and the relevant decrees of this decision.
He explained that the message delivered by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques emphasizes the keenness of the wise leadership to continue working to enhance the Saudi economic sectors and developing all regions of the kingdom. He pointed out that this budget represents an integrated work program to build a strong economy based on strong foundations with various income sources and growing savings, leading to strengthening partnership between both the public and private sectors. He pointed out that the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques gives great attention to a comprehensive renaissance through continuing to implement service and development projects to utilize the kingdom's massive investments in the infrastructure and developing the various government services as well as improving the efficiency of public spending.
He stressed that the agricultural sector receives attention and care from the state’s side, adding that the ADF will continue throughout the upcoming fiscal year to support this vital sector to contribute to achieving food security. This will happen through increasing the loaning value in order to continue the sector's growth and help it play its role in achieving food security in accordance with the agricultural policy of KSA. This would enable the fund to implement its comprehensive plans and accomplish its mission to support farmers and investors in the agricultural sector as well as actively contribute to supporting the ambitions and objectives of agricultural development across KSA in cooperation with the Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture.
At the end of his statement, Mr. Al-Sahli asked Allah to continue bestowing his blesses upon us under the rule of the wise leadership and the wise directives of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and the Crown Prince.
